Phage therapy and dental infections

André had abscesses around his dental implants, and antibiotics were no longer working. The solution offered to him in France was to remove all 17 implants under general anaesthetic and leave him toothless afterwards. Needless to say, this did not suit him. He then learned that phage therapy treatments were available in Georgia. In André’s own words, he was “welcomed impeccably.” As for hygiene, he had “never seen a dental practice in France where sterilisation was observed so scrupulously.” Being a healthcare professional himself, he knows what he is talking about…

Thank you, André, for your spontaneity, your sense of humour, your trust and your kindness. We wish you many happy years of biting into life again. (Video in French.)
